It's that time of year again, Castor & District Ag Society Rodeo is gearing up for the 2010 rodeo!! Let's make this one of our best rodeo's yet, as we are starting out the year with lots of moisture and plenty of happy cowboys and cowgirls.  As always we are looking for volunteers thoughout the year and for the actual rodeo weekend, so if you or anyone you know can make youself available, please contact one of our members.  In 2010 the rodeo will be held on July 24, 25th, it is both LRA & FCA approved.  The committee is working hard once again to put on another successful rodeo, having held a couple of meetings already this year everything is falling into place as should be

Castor Rodeo is a community tradition which has been running for over 30 years thanks to local and outlying community support.  Every year is a different challenge for the committee to undergo changes to keep the rodeo fresh and welcoming for the spectators as well as the cowboys.

The rodeo grounds are located east of Castor 5 miles perched on  a scenic coulee.  The grounds are available for use to the public for a small donation of their choice.  Groups such as 4-H, Team Ropers, High School rodeos etc have used and enjoyed the grounds for many years.  We also have picnic tables and bleachers that can be rented out to the public for a small fee as well.  To get more information or to become a member of our committee please feel free to contact us.
